In 2008 art students at John Marshall High School submitted the 5 designs below for a tile mosaic that will replace the painted "M" at the corner of St. George Street and Griffith Park Blvd. The public then voted via e-mail and postcard. We had over 300 votes including e-mails from Europe & Asia. Cost estimates are now being sought to turn the designs into tile, but no work on the project can start until work is completed on enlarging the Marshall athletic field.
